Morton W. FORDICE died at his home south of Russellville on Wednesday morning. He was the son of Asa and Mary CHAMBERS Fordice. He married Ella GUILLIAMS December 14, 1893 who survives with two daughters, Mrs Mary NOECKER of Saginaw, Michigan and Mrs. Marjorie PORTER of Greene Twp; and two sons, Rudolph of Russellville and Daniel of Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Fordice was a successful farmer and active in politics. He was a graduate of Indiana University.

Morton W. Fordice, 74, prominent Russell township farmer and well known in this community, died at his home near Russellville Wednesday morning. He had been ill some time. Mr. Fordice was a resident of Russell township practically all his life. He graduated from Indiana University with the class of 1896. The widow, two daughters, two sons, a sister and nine grandchildren survive --thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her wonderful Roachdale Times obituary collection with us   --- kbz.
